Winthrop Food Pantry Operations
We are open every Thursday afternoon from 1:00 – 2:30. In addition, we are open for evening hours on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 5:00-6:30. We serve residents of Winthrop and Wayne.
We are operating with curbside pickup only. You do not need to call ahead. We will be giving out prepared boxes of shelf-stable food along with bread, fresh produce, eggs, cheese, and frozen meat. Diapers and feminine care will also be provided. Kids Packs are available for pickup every week.
Please follow the signs to get in the service line. Stay in your vehicle and we will meet with you. When it’s your turn you will pull up to the outside check-in table. We will load an outside table with your boxes and bags, and you will also have the opportunity to choose any miscellaneous items we have.
Our New Location
Thanks to the help of many volunteers, the Winthrop Food Pantry has moved to our new location in the Winthrop Office Center at 10 Cross Road. Cross Road is directly across Route 202 from the entrance to the Winthrop Transfer Station.
Our old location on High Street served us well for over 30 years, but our new space is nearly double the size and once conditions allow, it will give us the ability to bring people back inside and let them choose the food that they receive for their family.
Need Some Help?
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 207-377-3332 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also contact us through Facebook messenger, but please be aware that if you message us on a Thursday, we may not see your message until the next day. If you need help that day, please call.
